Dr. Alok K Verma

Dr. Verma is the Ray Ferrari Professor and Chair of the Engineering Technology Department at Old Dominion University. He is also the President of the International Society of Agile Manufacturing (ISAM) and the chief editor of the International Journal of Agile Manufacturing (IJAM). He holds degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, Mechanical Engineering from ODU, and is a licensed professional engineer in Virginia. He has certifications in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma and has organized several international conferences. His scholarly work includes 35 journal papers and 45 papers in conference proceedings. He has developed training programs in Lean Enterprise & Design for Manufacturing and simulation-based training for shipbuilding and repair. He has received multiple awards and is active in professional organizations such as ASME, ASEE, SME, IIE, and SNAME.

Dr. J.P. Mohsen, PhD

Dr. Mohsen

Dr. Mohsen is a past President of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) and served as ASEE President during 2009–10. He is a Fellow of ASEE and has served on the ASEE Board of Directors. He is a professor and chair of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of Louisville since 1981. He holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati. His research focuses on non-destructive testing and evaluation of materials, particularly concrete structures. He teaches and conducts research in structural analysis and design, pavement design, construction materials, and health monitoring of bridges using remote sensing. He is active in the American Society of Civil Engineers and various technical committees. Dr. Mohsen has received multiple awards, including the ASCE Computing in Civil Engineering Award in 2014.
